Terms of Service
Effective 9 October 2026 · Version 2
These terms are an agreement between you and Helogram, operated from India by Aniket Gaikwad ("Helogram", "we"). By creating an account or using Helogram (the app or the website) you agree to them, to our Community Guidelines, and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Helogram.
1. Who can use Helogram
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You must give accurate information, including your date of birth, keep your password safe, and not share or sell your account. You may not use Helogram if we have previously removed your account, or if the law prohibits you from using it. Each person may have one personal account; businesses may also have a business account.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post and send. By posting, you give Helogram a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and distribute it within the service -- for example to show your post to people near you, or to make a smaller copy of a photo. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already shared or where the law requires us to keep it.
Only post content you have the right to share, and that doesn't break these terms or the law. You are responsible for what you post and send.
3. What's not allowed -- zero tolerance
You must not host, post, send, share or promote anything that:
- is sexually explicit, obscene, or invades another person's bodily privacy, including intimate images shared without consent;
- involves, exploits or endangers children in any way;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, defames or insults anyone, or attacks people for their religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or disability;
- promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or the sale of weapons, drugs or other illegal goods;
- is false or misleading in a way that could cause harm, or impersonates a person, business or government body;
- infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or shares their private information (including where they live) without consent;
- is spam, a scam, money laundering or gambling, or contains malware; or
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or relations with other countries, or is otherwise unlawful.
You also must not try to break or overload Helogram, get around blocks or bans, scrape it, or access other people's accounts. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
4. Reporting, blocking and enforcement
Photos and videos are checked automatically before they are published, and anything that clearly breaks these terms is not published; borderline cases wait for a person. You can report any post, comment, message or profile from its ⋯ menu and block anyone. Posts that receive several reports are hidden automatically while we review them. We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours. When we remove something you posted, your account gets a strike for a year: a second strike pauses posting for 7 days, and a third suspends the account. Sharing child sexual abuse material or intimate images without consent suspends the account at once. Where the law requires, we act on court orders and government directions within the time it allows, remove intimate images shared without consent within 24 hours of a complaint, and report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
If we remove your content or account, you can ask us to look again -- see /legal/grievance.
5. Messages, calls and meeting people
Helogram helps you connect with people and businesses near you. Be careful when sharing personal details or meeting someone in person, and meet in public. We don't run background checks on users and aren't responsible for what happens between users off Helogram. If someone is in danger, contact the police (112) first.
6. Businesses and paid features
Business accounts must describe themselves, their offers and their location truthfully and follow consumer-protection law. Any paid feature will be described, with its price and terms, before you buy it.
7. Helogram's service
Helogram is in early access. It is provided "as is" and "as available": features may change or stop, and we can't promise it will always be available, secure or error-free. The Helogram name, logo and app belong to us; these terms don't give you any right to use them. Helogram links to and relies on services run by others (such as maps, and Google or Apple sign-in), whose own terms apply.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Helogram is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for loss of data or profits, or for content posted by other users or for their conduct. As an intermediary under Indian law, Helogram is not responsible for content its users post, but we act on it as described above. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against Helogram because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other people, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact our Grievance Officer first -- most problems can be fixed that way. Any dispute that can't be resolved will be decided by the competent courts in India.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll ask you to review and accept it in the app before you continue using Helogram. We'll also remind everyone of the rules at least once a year.
